Getting Orientated with Exl-Plan > Manual Recalculation
By design, Exl-Plan turns off Excel’s automatic calculation. This means that the F9 function key, or “C” toolbar button or *Tools/Setup > Calculate All & Check menu option must be used to update calculations.
This also applies to any other workbooks loaded into Excel at the same time as an Exl-Plan’s workbook. To work around this, run a second copy of Excel and load the additional workbooks there.
When an Exl-Plan XLS file is closed, it changes Excel back to automatic calculation.
